Built for the room you are in
teec.click
Temporary social cards for tech events. Share the handles you choose with nearby attendees, then let the app profile expire when the event is over.

Event flow
Designed for quick contact swaps, not permanent profiles.
Open it at the venue
Use it when you are already in the room: a meetup, conference floor, demo night, or hackathon table.
Create a temporary card
Pick a display name, choose a 3-24 hour timer, and add only the handles you want people to have.
Appear on the local radar
Nearby attendees can discover your card while they are inside the 3km event radius.
Share across the table
Use the QR profile when someone is next to you, or let discovery handle the wider room.
Privacy boundaries
Clear limits are better than big promises.
teec.click is built around data minimisation. It still needs enough information to run nearby discovery, prevent simple abuse, and let you edit or delete your own card.
What is limited
- No account, email, or phone number is required to make a card.
- You choose which social handles to put on the profile.
- Location is fuzzed server-side before other attendees see it.
- Profiles are scheduled for deletion from the app database when the timer ends.
What to know
- The app needs browser location permission for nearby discovery.
- The 3km radius is designed for events, not city-wide networking.
- Location fuzzing helps avoid precise pins; it is not a personal safety tool.
- A device fingerprint is used for session ownership and rate limiting.
Where it fits
For crowded rooms where names disappear fast.
Hackathons
Find the person who mentioned a repo, design system, or API idea five minutes ago.
Conferences
Keep contact sharing fast without joining another permanent event directory.
Meetups
Trade handles with people nearby, then let the page expire after the room clears.
Transparency
Clear about what the app does and does not do.
The guide explains the setup flow, nearby discovery, QR sharing, profile timers, and the privacy limits in plain language before you use the app at an event.
